I am Jaiveer Krishnan, General Practitioner and Executive Director of Europa Medical Centre in the Northern Region of Adelaide Metropolitan area. I am Deputy Chair of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) SA & NT Faculty, and RACGP SA&NT Education and Professional Development Committee. I am also a board member of Adelaide GP Council (AGPC), GP Integration Officer for Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) and Adelaide Primary Health Network (PHN), and Vice President of the South Australian Indian Medical Association (SAIMA).
I was born in India and moved to West Midlands in the United Kingdom to complete my postgraduation in GP and Medicine, where I became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) respectively. I also completed a Masters in Diabetes from the University of Warwick. My journey continued migrating to Australia in 2014. I have been practicing as a GP since, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
I live in the foothills of Adelaide with my wife Vaishali, and our 2 daughters.
I am passionate about innovation, and system change to improve efficiency and patient-centred care. I strongly believe in Digital Health technology, and its aim to provide universally accessible and digestible content to all stakeholders including patients.
I am interested in exploring the concept of ‘Sanatana Dharma’. I love doing cycling, watching movies/sports, and spending time with family and friends.
